GametimeCT All-Decade Girls Basketball team: 2010-19

Casey Dulin, Law, 2010

Dulin was a McDonald’s All-America nominee, a New Haven Register and CHSCA All-State selection and was named the MVP of the CHSCA Class S-M All-Star game. Senior year, she averaged 18 points, 9 rebound, 4 steals and 3 blocks, setting both school and city records with 1, 639 career points for the Milford school. The 5-foot-10 guard played at Marist where she was All-MAAC Second Team.

Maura Fitzpatrick, Mercy, 2015

Fitzpatrick was named SCC MVP, SCC Tournament MVP twice, CHSCA All-State three times and New Haven Register All-State. She had 1,216 career points, averaging 16.5 points, 7.1 rebounds, 2.5 steals senior year. Played at Marist.

Janelle Harrison, Cromwell, 2014

Harrison was a New Haven Register and CHSCA All-State pick and the Shoreline Conference Player of the Year. She averaged 18 points and 10 rebounds as a senior. She helped Cromwell to an undefeated season and the school’s first Class M State Championship as a junior, advancing to the semifinals of the 2014 Class M Championship after winning the school’s third-straight Shoreline Conference Championship. Played at Hartford where she was a captain and was twice named to the America East All-Defensive team.

Makenzie Helms, East Haven, 2019

Helms was the 2019 GameTimeCT MVP, the CHSCA Player of the Year and the Gatorade Connecticut High School Player of the Year. She played two seasons at Loomis Chaffee and two at East Haven where she averaged 26.5 points, 7.4 rebounds, 6.6 assists and 4.3 steals as a senior, finishing her career with 1,715 points. She played at Nebraska and is currently playing at Quinnipiac as a senior.

DeJane James, Weaver, 2015

James was a GameTimeCT and All-CHSCA All-State selection, All-CCC selection and was a Gatorade Connecticut Player of the Year nominee. Scoring 1,312 career points, she averaged 24.2 points, 5.4 assists, three steals and 2.2 rebounds as a senior. She finished her career with 1,312 points. Played at Hampton University.

Keylantra Langley, Lauralton Hall, 2010

Langley was the 2010 New Haven Register MVP, a two-time New Haven Register and CHSCA All-State selection, a McDonald’s All-America nominee and was ranked No. 37 in the nation by ESPN HoopGurlz for the class of 2010. As a senior, averaged 17.8 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists, scoring over 1,000 career points. She played at St. John’s and professionally in Spain. She is the Director of Operations for the women’s basketball team at Marist.

Iyanna Lops, Trinity Catholic, 2019

Lops was a GameTimeCT All-State pick, two-time CHSCA selection and three-time All-FCIAC pick, being named the FCIAC Defensive Player of the year in 2019. Led Trinity to the CIAC Class S championship. Scored over 1,000 career points, averaging 19 points, 13 rebounds and six blocks as a senior. Currently playing at St. Bonaventure as a senior and averaging 11.9 points a game.

Katie Mahoney, Bacon Academy, 2011

Mahoney was the Gatorade Connecticut Player of the Year, AII-ECC, CHSCA and GameTimeCT All-State. As a senior, she averaged 22 points, 5.5 rebounds and 3.5 assists, finishing her career with 1,750 points. 90-9 record in her four year career, helping her team win the CIAC Class M Championship.

India Pagan, New London, 2017

Pagan was a GameTimeCT and CHSCA All-State pick. She led the Whalers to the CIAC Class LL championship and No. 1 ranking in her senior season. She played at Stony Brook where she scored over 1,000 points in her career and wound up with the highest career field goal percentage in school history (.512). She played for the Puerto Rican national team which won the silver medal at the 2021 FIBA Women’s AmeriCup and competed in the 2021 Olympics in Tokyo.

Isabella Santoro, Mercy, 2018

Santoro  was the Gatorade State Player of the Year, three-time All-SCC, two-time New Haven Register and CHSCA All-State pick. Helped Mercy win three SCC championships and the CIAC Class LL State Championship. The 5-foot-10 guard scored over 1,000 career point, averaging 17.6 points, 7 rebounds and 3.3 assists as a senior. Played at Stonehill.

Courtney Schissler, Branford, 2010

Schissler received New Haven Register and CHSCA all-state honors. She was also a McDonald’s All-America nominee and MVP of the CHSCA Class L-LL All-Star game. She guided the Hornets to the SCC title, earning tournament MVP honors. The 5-foot-10 guard/ forward averaged 23 points and 10 rebounds, scoring 1,705 career points. Played at Bryant where she was ranked in the top 20 in the Northeast Conference in scoring, rebounding, FG pct., FT pct., 3-point FG pct. and minutes played.

Casey Smith, Danbury, 2012

Smith was a three-time CHSCA All-State and All-FCIAC selection and  New Haven Register All-State pick. As a senior, guided Danbury to a 25-1 record and a FCIAC Championship, with 19 points, 9.6 rebounds and 3 assists a game. Played in college at St. Joseph’s and Fairfield where she became the first player in Stags history to be named to the MAAC All-Rookie team and All-MAAC Third Team in their first season.
