Holland America Line is rolling out new entertainment programming for its upcoming world cruises.

Starting in January 2025, guests sailing on the line’s 124-day Grand World Voyage and 133-day Grand Voyage: Pole to Pole itineraries will have a chance to watch 15 new production shows.

The new shows were developed by producer Blackburn International, and they feature a cast of eight singers and dancers. Each production has a theme, including tributes to well-known musical groups like Fleetwood Mac and the Eagles.

“Holland America Line has never introduced this many shows at one time,” says Bill Prince, vice president of entertainment for Holland America Line. “The Grand Voyages are the longest itineraries we offer and it’s important to keep the entertainment fresh for our returning guests. The new shows are a diverse collection of music genres to appeal to a wide variety of tastes.”

In addition to the 15 new shows, guests can enjoy headliners, comedians and other performers while sailing around the globe. Travelers can also master a new skill during classes and workshops in everything from ballroom dancing to watercolor painting and pickleball.

Guest chefs will also join the cruises during different segments to share cuisine from that region. They’ll host “coffee chats” and lead cooking demonstrations, in addition to showcasing their culinary prowess at Pinnacle Grill.

The Grand World Voyage will depart from Fort Lauderdale on January 4, 2025, aboard the Zuiderdam and will visit 49 ports in 30 countries on six continents. The Grand Voyage: Pole to Pole, meanwhile, departs January 25 from Fort Lauderdale aboard the Volendam and will visit 69 ports in 26 countries on five continents.

The two ships will meet in Barcelona on April 24. During that time, guests will be able to participate in a Catalan-themed dinner on each ship, parties on deck and reunion opportunities.

Guests who book one of the full voyages by August 19 can enjoy special perks and deals worth up to $8,800 per person. For instance, guests who book early can get a free Surf Wi-Fi- package, a $500 air credit per person and free roundtrip airport transfers.

Shorter segments are also available on each cruise. Guests who book a segment on either cruise can get onboard credits worth up to $1,000 per stateroom, free laundry and dry-cleaning, and a free Surf Wi-Fi package.
