Going to your local flea market can be a really fun way for you and your family to spend the day. There’s always a bunch of cool items to find and typically for a great deal too!
In Tennessee, there are a lot of amazing flea markets, but this one is considered one of the best in the United States!
It’s called the Nashville Flea Market in Nashville, TN.
One website says, “Voted the No.1 Flea Market in Tennessee by both The Tennessee Magazine and Busy Bee Trader, this popular flea is home to over 1000 vendors from more than 30 different states. With an average of 2000 booths at each market and a huge selection of antiques, furniture, artwork, clothing, electronics, homeware, and more, it’s no wonder that the Nashville Flea attracts an impressive 500,000 visitors each year.”
This flea market is open on the fourth weekend of each month from 8 am to 5 pm on Fridays and Saturdays. On Sundays, they are open from 8 am to 4 pm.
The flea market’s website says, “For more than half a century, this iconic event operates monthly drawing an impressive ½ million visitors annually and growing. Founded in 1969, the Nashville Flea Market has been in operation for almost 60 consecutive years.”
“The mission is to provide a venue for traveling and local vendors to make a living while offering the community an alternative to the traditional, big box shopping experience,” the website goes on to say.
