Missouri PDS Tornado Warning: When Will Twister Hit Aurora, Marionville, Clever

A PDS Tornado Warning has been issued for several cities in Missouri, including Aurora, Marionville and Clever. “PDS” stands for “particularly dangerous situation.” A PDS watch, according to the National Weather Service, signifies a particularly dangerous situation where violent tornadoes are possible.

Several local storm chasers claim that at around 4:44 pm, per local time, (CDT), a large and extremely dangerous tornado was located over Aurora. The twister accompanied by gusts and a severe weather situation to wherever it reach was moving east with a speed of 30 mph.

A gigantic tornado already made a touchdown in Clarksville in the evening. The twister reportedly left major damages in the area.

Meanwhile, the NWS’ Springfield office in a detailed forecast mentioned the active alert in Northeastern Newton County at around 3:24 pm (CDT). The tornado warnings for most part of the region remain active till 4:00 pm (CDT), that may get extended.

Based on radar-indicated rotation, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado

was located near Neosho. The storm was moving in the eastern direct with a pace of 25 mph. Locations impacted include Neosho, Granby, Diamond, Newtonia, Wentworth, and Ritchey.
